Contemporary Symbiosis

An art and wildlife-conservation initiative by Gabi Silasi, a Hungarian designer based in The Hague. Contemporary Symbiosis is a personal project raising awareness through graphic illustrations to the extraordinary and vulnerable wildlife we share the planet with.
 
The illustrations highlight the specific characteristics of each animal, drawing attention to their unique traits. The hand-drawn illustrations are reproduced as museum quality digital prints or as limited edition silk-screen prints. Accompanied by a short description of the species, the pieces serve both artistic and educational purposes.

A part of the sales are donated to selected conservation programmes, wishing to offer financial aid to those directly involved with wildlife, usually in the more hidden corners of the world.
 
The drawings illustrate just a fraction of our planet’s biodiversity, but still hope to leave a mark to a wider audience.
